Nerf Rough Cut?
P.S. If you do not know what Zombie Strike is, here is a link to a post about a new Nerf series called Zombie Strike Takes you to the post
P.P.S Thanks for randomshadow9 for finding this.
Now lots of Nerf Fans are complaining about the Nerf Zombie Strike line. The Nerf Zombie Strike line is supposedly the answer to legit looking Nerf HVZ gear. They have awesome cosmetics but there are certain aspects missing! For example, the Hammershot. The Hammershot no doubt is a very cool revolver. It has faux bandages around the grip, a sick color scheme, and looks awesome all around, but in HVZ, its not that good. Ranges are about 40 feet flat, and that is low compared to the Nerf Elite line. The Strongarm easily beets it, with ranges about 65 feet to 70 feet flat, and it has slam fire and can carry one more dart. I'm not saying the Hammershot is bad, but compared to the Strongarm it lacks some important aspects.
But a Hit and Miss is the Nerf Zombie Strike SledgeFire. It is really cool looking, again with faux bandages and a awesome barrel break. Its new design witch uses "Shells" is cool! It fires 3 darts at once for awesome firepower. But a problem is, when you shoot the 3 darts, one of them hits about 65 feet while the others hit about 55 feet. Not only that, but the SledgeFire takes a long time to reload and shoot again, when fighting a large crowd of zombies, this is a big mistake. The Nerf Rough Cut is a better "Shotgun Style" gun compared to this. Although arguably the SledgeFire looks cooler, the Nerf Rough Cut is a better choice. It fires 2 darts at once (and you can choose to fire one), and can slam fire. Reloading is quick and easy, and it shoots 75 feet.
The other blasters, well they are just single shot blasters. The crossbow looks cool but its single shot.
So is this the answer to the slightly under powered Zombie Strike line? The Nerf Zombie Strike Rough Cut? Will it look awesome but still have the great fire power the original one has? Many questions, but I have high expectations. This might actually save the Zombie Strike line.
